Whole home transformation

Rather than moving, this client chose to invest in transforming their existing home — a decision driven by its exceptional location and beautiful views. While the setting was ideal, the interiors felt dated, and the existing furnishings no longer supported how the couple wanted to live.

Anna Grace Design developed a comprehensive scheme for the entire four-bedroom home, covering exterior and interior colours, flooring, lighting, window treatments, furniture, and accessories. The project was managed end-to-end, with the majority of work completed while the clients were overseas, minimising disruption and allowing them to return to a fully refreshed home.

Original timber floors were uncovered beneath the existing carpet and restored to become a warm foundation throughout the house. The fireplace was updated, new lighting installed, bathrooms renovated, and both the interior and exterior repainted. All furnishings, window treatments, and finishing details were carefully sourced to create a cohesive result.

The client was drawn to colour but lacked confidence in how to use it. A carefully balanced palette of blues and soft pinks was introduced throughout the home, adding depth and warmth while maintaining a calm, liveable feel. Repeating these tones across spaces ensured visual continuity without monotony.

The completed home feels cohesive, warm, and entirely renewed — a space that honours its enviable location while supporting modern living. Through thoughtful planning, layered colour, and carefully chosen materials, the house has been transformed into a comfortable, beautiful home designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
