This Kamo home already contained many beautiful, high-quality furnishings from a previous design project, but the homeowners felt the spaces needed new energy — something to lift, modernise, and better reflect how they live now.
Rather than starting from scratch, Anna Grace Design focused on thoughtful updates that would honour the existing pieces while introducing colour, personality, and cohesion across the key rooms.
A defining aspect of this project was the use of locally made, custom pieces. All bespoke furnishings were produced by New Zealand manufacturers, ensuring exceptional quality while supporting local craftsmanship.
The home now feels refreshed, cohesive, and quietly sophisticated — a testament to how thoughtful design interventions can dramatically transform a space without discarding what already works. Familiar pieces remain, but the overall atmosphere is brighter, more contemporary, and deeply personal.
